ADN Privacy Policy

Last change: 5. July 2013

This privacy policy explains what gets stored when you install the Podlove Podcast Publisher and use the App.net module to access the App.net system.

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. Whenever we make changes to this privacy policy, the changes are effective 30 days after we post the revised privacy policy (as indicated by revising the date at the top of our privacy policy).

We encourage you to review our privacy policy whenever you access our services to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.

What we do

The App.net module of the Podlove Publisher uses the API of App.net to access the system using the account you have authenticated with. In order to complete authentication, you have to manually copy the authentication key to the Podlove Publisher installation.

During the authentication process we do not store anything about you or your account except for this authentication key that is needed to make further calls to App.net. Once enabled, the system uses the key to create new posts based on the settings you made.

At no point in time do we store any private or public information about your account. We do not read any profile information or try to access anything else of your account.

So here you have it: we are totally cool and do no harm to any of your bits. If you truly believe we are cool, consider a donation.
